Submissions

Thanks you for considering a submission to www.housatonicthebeautiful.org! We are excited to see your material!
Please follow the following guidelines to submit material:

Images

Please scan images and save at 300 dpi as a jpg and name the image using no capital letters. Put images on a CD and mail to the address below. If you do not have access to a scanner you can send or drop off the originals and I will scan them. Please include a self addressed, self stamped envelope so I can return the materials to you.

Audio

If you have recordings of old broadcasts about Housatonic, interviews or family recordings of noteworthy people or events or just interesting commentary by the people of Housatonic please submit a 128 kbps mp3. If the file is smaller than 5 megs you can send it to the e-mail below. If it is larger, please burn it on a disc and send to the address below. I can also make audio transfers to digital here in my professional studio.

Film/Video

Any Historic film footage of Housatonic would be wonderful to archive digitally on this site. Even if it is recent we would be interested in seeing footage of town events. Please convert your video into a quicktime movie or windows media player movie and send me a data file.

Otherwise I will assume that you sent me a copy that you don't need to have returned to you. Rest assured that I will take the greatest care with your original material. These are our historic treasures and will be treated as such. Thanks!
