Led by the Housatonic Improvement Committee in partnership with the Great Barrington Tree Committee, the Housatonic Tree Sponsorship Program is working to restore and sustain our village’s tree canopy as a shared source of shade, beauty, and ecological health.

Together, we’re inviting neighbors, families, and local businesses to help plant and care for trees that will cool our streets, clean our air, and strengthen the landscape we all share. Every sponsored tree is a living investment in Housatonic’s future—a visible act of care that connects today’s residents to the generations who will walk beneath their branches. 

Sponsor a tree for $100 to support planting and maintenance across the village, or sponsor a tree with a personalized plaque for $165 to dedicate in honor of a special pet. If you choose to sponsor a plaque, we'll reach out after your donation to confirm details.
